Job description

HR Business Partner:

·      Report to Group HR Director to implement HR plans in the factory in Vietnam (e.g. manpower planning, C&B, performance management, succession planning, people development, employee relations, organizational review).

·      Plan an active role in supporting Group HR Director to guide the business through all annual processes as part of the HR lifecycle, includes the promotion process, year-end performance and compensation cycle.

·      Assist in formulating and reviewing the Company’s HR policies and procedures, monitoring their enforcement to ensure compliance with the related legislation and statutory requirements in Vietnam.

·      Lead, develop and implement HR projects and programs to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency, engage relevant internal stakeholders and teams to ensure sufficient buy-in and adoption to changes.

·      Identify and drive the sharing of HR best practices across business lines, teams or functions to facilitate continuous improvement.

·      Employee Well-Being, including managing the local delivery of wellness related programs.

Talent Acquisition:

·      Develop strategic resourcing plans and provide effective solutions on talent acquisition and retention to fulfil factory's short and long term needs & objectives.

·      Oversea recruitment strategy for attracting talent in the garment industry.

·      Manage recruitment workflow, process job posting and establish an effective recruitment channel and talent pool for cost saving and enhance efficiency.

·      Ensure alignment between workforce planning and hiring needs.

Total Rewards:

·      Assist the compensation & benefit programs to be developed and implemented in Vietnam.

·      Analyse market survey trends on human resources and compensation and benefits practices, prepare total rewards proposal to evaluate the effectiveness of existing C&B programs with reference to market survey results.

·      Engage in compensation & benefit policies and programs design to attract, retain and motivate staff, such as job evaluation, market benchmarking, salary structure, incentive scheme and benefit scheme review.

·      Keep abreast of remuneration plan & reward strategy, develop up-to-date market remuneration and benefits package summary for management review.

·      Manage various annual HR exercises such as salary review, compensation survey and benchmark, performance appraisal, etc.

Performance Management & Development

·      Support Group HR Director to manage the execution of talent development programs including Management Trainee Program, Succession Planning and Development Programs for identified talents.

·      Drive organizational development strategies to improve efficiency & employee engagement.

·      Provide insights on workforce planning, talent pipeline and succession planning to support business growth.

·      Implement career development framework and competency-based training programs.

HR Operation

·      Monitor the daily HR operation to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of HR matters such as monthly payroll process, people movement, local compensation and regulations implementation.... etc.

·      Ensure HR metrics are aligned with business performance indicators.

·      Consolidate different HR data and prepare regular HR reports for management and headquarter review.

·      Take up other projects or tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Employee Relations

·      Build relationship with government parties, trade union to ensure company’s policies and procedures compliance with the related legislation and statutory requirements in Vietnam.

·       Handle employee relations from the initial incident, undertake investigations, identify solutions & follow through until completion.

·       Performing employee’s satisfaction assessments and workshop, recommend measures to impose employee retention.


Job requirement

We are looking an individual with :

·      Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field

·      At least 10 years’ of working experience in HR preferably with a mix of Business Partnering and strong compensation & benefits experience

·      Independent, proactive and self-motivated

·      Strong experience in managing key stakeholders, able to work in a highly matrix, fast-paced environment

·      Good communication & presentation, excellent organizational, planning and time management skills. Ability to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities

·      Well versed in the Employment Ordinance and other HR related regulations in Vietnam

·      Comfortable in being hands-on and has the potential to take on more

·      Experience in working in a COE HR model (HRBP, HR COEs like Total Rewards) is preferable

·      Good command of both spoken and written English

·      Proficiency with MS Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and knowledge of HRIS system

·      Immediate available or short notice is preferred
